Nauru Community Safety Pty Ltd have been engaged to manage the Community Safety services to ensure the safety and well-being of the Nauruan people.

Nauru Community Safety Pty Ltd aim to provide to the Nauru Government to assist in managing the Safety Risk Effectively.

OUR SERVICES

Nauru Community Safety support to the Nauruan Government in the managing security and support services for the community. This will be in the form of (but not limited) the following:

Escort Services

The Provision of escort services for the movement of individuals as required. The service will run between the hours of 8am until 8pm hours.
This will be in the form of a dedicated transport service to allow the following:

Individual or groups to visit shopping precincts
The attendance of sporting events or other activities
To attend medical appointments
To attend court proceedings if required

OUR SERVICES

Community Safety Services

Nauru Community Safety PTY/LTD will ensure the safety and security of the Facility through professional security personnel in the form of (but not limited to):

Electronic monitoring using CCTV
Facility security using static and mobile patrols
Staffed access control points
Vehicle and person checks for any contraband
Community Safety Patrols and a Rapid Response Team
Emergency Wardens in the event of an emergency

OUR SERVICES

Community Patrolling Services

Nauru Community Safety PTY/LTD will provide a 24 hour/7 day a week patrolling service to maintain peace and safety in the community utilizing marked vehicles and uniformed safety officers with a focus on the following:

Engagement with the community with an emphasis on safety and security
Engagement with the community with regards to attending sporting/cultural events
Cohort crime prevention through a visual presence/deterrence
Encouragement of the community to report any suspicious activity or persons
Respond to incident of concern
Joint patrols/operations with the Nauru Police force to show Police and Safety Officer collaboration
Joint patrols/operations with the Nauru Police force when there is possible involvement from individual Cohorts

OUR SERVICES

Community Response Service

A dedicated 24 hour/7 day a week Rapid Response Team for incidents or concerns within the community. They will be responsible for the following (but not limited to):

Incident management in the community where a member of the Cohort is involved.
Support to Community Safety Patrol Officers.
A surge capacity for Facility security if required.
Security support for high-risk escorts.
Support to the transport service team.
Support to the Nauru Police Force for critical incidents.
Support to the Nauru Police Force in Public Order Management.

All security personal of Nauru Community Safety will be sworn in as Special Constables of the Nauru Police force to ensure all relevant Nauru law and legislation is adhered to.

Community Engagement Plan

Nauru Community Safety PTY/LTD will develop and implement strategies to foster positive interactions with the community in the form of (but not limited to) the following:

Engagement with the community through conversations and ‘meet and greet’ with the community
Engagement with the community with regards to attending sporting/cultural events
Joint Nauru Government and Nauru Community Safety projects for the community
Capacity Development for the Nauru Police Force and Nauru Government

OUR SERVICES

Surveillance Team

A dedicated Covert Surveillance team to monitor and oversee Cohort activities for enhanced security. This will be in the form of plain clothes safety officers using unmarked vehicles fitted with suitable video/audio surveillance equipment to provide the following:

The surveillance team working alongside the Nauru Police force to share intelligence of Cohort individuals or groups that may be conducting or about to conduct criminal activities.
Reporting of Cohort individuals or groups engaging with persons of interest to the Nauru Police Force to prevent any criminal activities or actions that could cause safety concerns within the community.
Monitoring and surveillance to ensure that individuals who have strict visa conditions do not break these conditions.

Office Administration Personnel

Nauru Community Safety Pty Ltd will provide dedicated office administration personnel supporting day-to-day operations with skilled administrative staff. They will ensure the following (but not limited to):

Invoicing and payments
Procurement
Transport and logistics to and from Australia
Rotation and rostering of all personnel
Coordination of airport transfers
